Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam an usual man with unusual vision and aim. He was the education laurette. He was born in rameswaram in the family of boatman but completed his education from MIT Chennai. Inspite of severe difficulties he was determined to create a bright future. He used to sell newspapers in streets and study simultaneously .Though he was not a hardworking student in school days but he managed to earn scholarship during his masters by his desire to learn and ability to think out of the box. He was the man with open heart. He accepted all challenges that came along his way. He joined DRDO as scientist but was unconvinced with his choice so he started working in ISRO where he launched Rohini satellite. Later after the successful completion he joined other engineers along with him with a new dream to achieve.
He served as president from 2002 to 2007. During his president ship, he was a dynamic leader.
he set his priorities everyday. He was the one who believed in his dreams more than he believed himself. He is a living legend for all of us. He is in visiting faculty of IIM Indore and IIM Ahmadabad Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.. Dr Kalam adhered by this in every step of life. inspite of being president of country , he is always humble and best interacts with students. he was from a small town but still he changes the future of a country and paved the way for many youngsters to dream in a world of technology. He is the man who has gone under severe hardships of life but still emerged out as lightning. He never let his failure affect the growth for success. The missile man who wrote new chapter in history. His autobiography “Wings of Fire” and book “India 2020” are patrons of motivation and asset of knowledge.
