I do not exactly remember the date when Malala incidence spread like a divine fire, but I do remember the incidence and the implications it had across the globe. Malala Yousafzai is one hell of a girl who exemplified her brawn and fortitude when she stood up against the Taliban forces in Afghanistan advocating the right of girls to education. She was shot by a Taliban gunman but destiny had something else in store for her. She survived the brutal attempt to slain her cold-bloodily.
The reason Malala was shot was that she was standing for education of girls in Afghanistan where Taliban terror is no new story. But she had guts to go out in open, board the school bus and face the bullet. Following her this act of strength she was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize and invited by US President Barack Obama.
Malala Yousafzai is an inspiration for all those girls who fear and do not go to study surrounded by social stigmas. Every time I read about Malala , a wave of positive energy runs in my mind. As long as I am alive her spirit will make me strong in my times of trials and tribulation.
Long live Malala!
Long live Education!
